Christian and Beckan both hit the scale perfectly!

The professional attitude of our fighters continues in Romania as both our fighters are on weight and ready to go at tomorrow´s show- it sadly can´t be said about their opponents.

Christian weighed in at 76,5kg- his opponent was 7 pounds over the weight limits and had to cut- at least slightly more than 2 pounds. This could only happen because of a missunderstanding between Cojocaru´s trainer and the local promoter has he was granted to enter the welterweight tournament at 79kg- which is a pretty weird thing- especially considering that Christian could have stopped cutting weight a lot earlier having known about this. But it stands as it does- and Christian came to Romania to fight- and the fight will go down as planned.

Beckan´s opponent Luca Poclit had one pound over the catchweight of 72kg- but easily shed the 500 gramm within an hour after an intense staredown that promises an action packed fight. It is now time for our fighters to recover from the weight cut and get enough rest before tomorrow´s live event, which will be aired on the 24th of March from 11pm on CET on Prima TV or via internet livestream “Sopcast”.
